Books that Change Lives
UBUNTU Publishing is a space for Black voices to be amplified. Our founder, Dr. Catinia Farrington, was inspired by her mentor/colleague, Dr. Derek Wilson's work, UBUNTU Musing: The Need for Black Critical Consciousness, which challenged mainstream norms and offered a new perspective. UBUNTU Publishing believes in the power of literature to facilitate social change and want to make sure that Black voices are heard. Our books are thought-provoking, well-written, and insightful, all while providing new perspectives and promoting Black authors.
UBUNTU Publishing is a safe and creative space, solely dedicated to empowering and uplifting Black voices. We believe that representation is important, and that everyone's story deserves to be told ― that's why we publish books that capture the very essence of the Black experience. Our visionaries share their thoughts, reflections, inspirations and stories to create something meaningful and inspiring.
